The 26 episode show of which the first episode deals with eating disorders, is aimed at South Africa teenagers and young adults.
Harambe is studio based with a weekly panel of youth guests to discuss the issues. Topics for future episodes will range from alcohol abuse and abusive relationships, to teen pregnancy, ''sexual health'', ''sugardaddies'' and petty crimes, to children who have to take care of families, youth violence and teen suicide.
Harambe also has 4, what they call ''trendsetters'' - Palesa Masiteng, Moeti ''Mo Flava'' Tsiki, Bianca Williams and Sdu Majola.
