BREAKING. The Bubble Decade on CNBC Africa.

You're reading it here first. CNBC Africa (DStv 410) has The Bubble Decade, a one hour original documentary about the tumultuous global financial markets that will go out at midnight this Saturday night, 19 December.

As the first decade of the 21st century draws to a close, David Faber looks back at the tumultuous era, ''marked by ambition and innovation, avarice and excess - and record highs - and lows - on Wall Street.''

The Bubble Decade examines the 3 economic bubbles that defined this past decade: the tech bubble, the real estate bubble and the credit bubble. The rollercoaster ride of the past decade is told through the people who lived it: some who made millions, some who lost millions, and some who did both.

David Faber profiles internet entrepreneurs, real estate speculators, and corporate takeover specialists and in the program there will also be to panels of  key players who will talk about the biggest financial stories of the decade.

The Bubble Decade repeats on Monday, 21 December on CNBC Africa (DStv 410) at 00:00.
