BREAKING. SABC's MASSIVE overdraft!

The SABC has run an overdraft of between R580 MILLION and R600 MILLION since March, the start of the current financial year of the public broadcaster.

So says the chariperson of the interim SABC board, Ms. Irene Charnley.

In the past four months the SABC has lowered expenditure by R65 MILLION.

Irene says the SABC is now ''stable''. The interim board will hand over their duties to the new permanent board in the middle of November.
