SABC1, SABC2 and SABC3 new programming highlights, with December 2014 TV specials and new shows starting February 2015.


SABC1 will broadcast the second season of the drama series Tempy Pushas in February 2015, together with other local productions like Ithuba Lokugcina (sitcom, starting 11 Feb 19:30), Holiday Swop (reality show, starting 9 Feb 18:00), Thandeka's Diary (comedy, starting 9 Feb 19:30) and the drama series Uzalo (starting 9 Feb 20:30).

SABC1 has December TV specials scheduled, including Joyous Celebration (25 Dec 22:00), Cape Town Jazz Festival (30 Dec 12:00), Tupac: The Philosopher (6 Dec 23:30), Lil Wayne: The Carter (13 Dec 23:30) and Come Duze 2015 on 31 December from 21:00.

Bona Retsang is a new youth afternoon show on SABC1 which started on Wednesday 3 December at 16:00 featuring inspiring stories of young people throughout South Africa. Bona Retsang looks at youth-related and social issues and tries to find solutions for these problems.

The 6th season of The Game will start on SABC1 on 13 January 2015 at 22:00. The third season of Nyan Nyan will start on 10 February at 18:00 on SABC1.

Find Me My Man with Natalie Clarice is set to start on SABC1 on 10 February at 21:00.

The second season of Tempy Pushas will start on SABC1 on on 13 February at 20:30. The third season of 100% Youth will start on SABC1 on 12 February at 18:00.

SABC2 has December concerts scheduled, but is not giving broadcasting times, with Benjamin Dube (25 Dec), Nqubeko Mbatha and Thandiswa Mazwai (30 Dec).

SABC3 will broadcast the Miss World pageant live on 14 December at 16:00 and will start the 20th season of The Amazing Race on 29 December at 20:30.
