It's probably the first time that MultiChoice is not making a TV channel added to lower-tiered packages available as so-called "sell-through" to all higher and more expensive bouquets.
MultiChoice didn't specify in the announcement why MGM supplied by Chello Zone in the United Kingdom isn't being given to DStv Premium subscribers who pay the highest subscription fee to receive all available content.
MGM has already been available on On Digital Media's (ODM) TopTV or soon to be StarSat platform for the past three years.
MGM will start on DStv's lower-tiered bouquets from 12 November which DStv Premium customers won't have access to.
