The Travel Channel orders 3 new shows, renews 4 shows and orders additional episodes for the latest season of Airport 24/7: Miami.


The Travel Channel (DStv 179) has ordered 3 new shows for the channel, renewed 4 shows for further seasons and ordered additional episodes of the latest season of Airport 24/7: Miami.

The Travel Channel has ordered Netherworld, a one hour special following Zak Bagans from Ghost Adventures down into the real-life catacombs of Paris. The channel also ordered Sturgis: 24/7, a new series which will focus on South Dakota's 73rd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The Travel Channel is also working on Celebrity Layover, a new series in which celebrities will be giving a local perspective on a specific destination they know very well and love.

The Travel Channel has renewed Bizarre Foods America and The Dead Files which are both getting a 5th season. Toy Hunter and Trip Flip have also been renewed and are both getting a third season.

Airport 24/7: Miami has been extended by an additional 6 episodes for the current second season.
