I can reveal and break the news that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the much-buzzed about new reality show revolving around the 6 year old beauty pageant queen, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is coming to South Africa and South African viewers on TLC (TopTV 453 / DStv 172) from Wednesday 6 March at 21:10.

The reality show, a spin-off from TLC's Toddlers and Tiaras, follows Honey Boo Boo and her family in Georgia like rotund Mama June, Honey Boo Boo's three older sisters and dad Mike.

Of course there's also Honey Boo Boo's pet pig Glitzy. But Honey Boo Boo is constantly worries that Mama might perhaps eat him. Luckily the family often stops for roadkill which they pick up for the pot to make some nice dinner every so often.

And there's still Honey Boo Boo's "Go-Go Juice" - the Mountain Dew laced with Red Bull that Mama June mixed up for Honey Boo Boo to help her "go-go" when its performance time.

South African viewers are definitely going to be transfixed by Honey Boo Boo and this unbelievable show which is once again taking reality television to a whole new level.
