Style finds studs; new reality show to follow five male models in Manhattan who are also experienced handymen.
Style (DStv 183) says it has found "studs on a new home design docu-series" - five male models who will be followed in a new reality series for the channel who work with power tools and do home improvements.
Built, which will have a first season of 10 episodes, will follow five male models in Manhattan who are part of a home design and construction service staffed exclusively with male models who are also experienced handymen.
"On each new episode of Built the five-man crew will tackle a home makeover project by helping their clients with remodeling challenges. With their different personalities and skill sets, the Built team sometimes struggle to find common ground in their work, however, their dizzying good looks bind them together and ensure a handsome ending."
The Built models who are a part of the show include Shane Duffy, Sandy Dias, Gage Cass, Donny Ware and Mike Keute. Kim Gieske is a top interior designer and home stylist who collaborates with the guys.
Endemol USA is producing Built and will start in America in January 2013, sure to be seen later in 2013 on Style in South Africa.
