Programming note: MSNBC goes 'Decision 2012' on Wednesday for American presidential election coverage.


MSNBC (TopTV 410) is branding its coverage this coming Tuesday of the upcoming American presidential election as "Decision 2012" and will have Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews anchoring the 24-hour news channel's American presidential coverage on election night on Tuesday, beginning Tuesday night at midnight (00:00 Wednesday morning South African time).

Chuck Todd will focus on the battleground states in America and Tamron Hall will track the voting results. Melissa Harris-Perry will contribute from the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago and Chris Jansing will report from the Romney headquarters in Boston.

"Decision 2012" coverage will continue on Wednesday at 12:00 (South African time) with Morning Joe live from the historic 8H studio at 30 Rock. Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist will offer an election recap and continuing analysis of the election results. Morning Joe will broadcast in front of a live studio audience on Wednesday.
