BREAKING. Common Law on M-Net cancelled after one season; Fairly Legal on Universal Channel likely over after two seasons as well.

The American TV drama Common Law on M-Net (DStv 101) is cancelled, and the unexciting Fairly Legal on The Universal Channel (DStv 108) is likely a gonner too, Deadline reports.

The options on the lead actors in Common Law has expired without being picked up, which makes a second season basically impossible.

The executive producer of Common Law has also left to become the executive producer of the new Sherlock Holmes drama Elementary.

Fairly Legal with Sarah Shahi is probably over too after two seasons, the second season of which was retooled but still failed to lure in viewers or create enough buzz.
