BREAKING. Clifton Shores on Vuzu finally getting a broadcasting starting date of 21 August at 21:00, more than a year after filming.

The long-gestating Clifton Shores is finally coming to Vuzu with the reality drama shot in Clifton and Cape Town finally getting a broadcasting starting date of Tuesday, 21 August at 21:00, the channel tells me.

The show financed by the coal mining mogul Quinton van der Burgh was filmed more than a year ago, following four American girls from Las Vegas working in South Africa for his company Quintessential whilst living in South Africa's wealthiest suburb of Clifton and fighting with each other and their boyfriends.

Whilst waiting for a broadcasting date, industry insiders have since remarked on the apparent low visibility of black main characters in an otherwise predominantly white reality show, and how odd it is given that its set in South Africa. Vuzu tells me that Clifton Shores will run for 13 weeks until 13 November.
