BREAKING. DStv dumps M-Net's soap The Wild from its decoders to make space for 4 better shows.

MultiChoice has decided to dump M-Net's weekday soap The Wild from its PVR decoders to make space for better TV series.

The Wild will be abruptly be disappearing from MultiChoice's DStv on Demand service on PVR and viewers who want to see the show on the PVRs as stored content will now have to set specificrecordings for it.

The Wild is removed from the list of TV shows on M-Net automatically downloaded to PVR hard drive space to make space for other shows. Game of Thrones, Californication, Homeland and Missing - all shows starting this month on M-Net will now take the place of The Wild. With limited hard drive space on the PVR something had to give in order to bring DStv subscribers highly acclaimed television and The Wild is therefore removed from the auto download schedule.

''As of 6 April, The Wild will no longer be available on the DStv on Demand service on PVRs in order to make space on PVR hard drives for the four additional international series,'' says MultiChoice. The Wild will remain available on DStv on Demand's online service but that will require broadband capacity.
