The SABC has just decided to increase its live coverage of the ANC centeray celebrations on Sunday from an already massive 7 hours to 10 hours on South Africa's public broadcaster.
The 10 hours on Sunday - 8 hours on SABC2 and another 2 hours on SABC1 excludes the repeat broadcast of the 7 hour pro-ANC documentary series Have You Heard from Johannesburg? SABC2 dumped its primetime lineup for this week, and of which the two remaining hours will be shown on Saturday and Sunday.
SABC2 will now start with blanket ANC coverage at 07:00 on Sunday morning already, going until 10:00. At 15:00 until 18:00 on SABC2 the channel will give further live coverage for another 5 hours.
That will be followed by another 2 hours of ANC coverage on SABC1 between 20:00 and 22:00. Meanwhile on Saturday and Sunday at 20:00 on SABC2 episode 6 and 7 of Have You Heard from Johannesburg? will be shown.
