I can reveal tht M-Net's on-screen logo won't be changing from - and during - the month of October when the pay broadcaster turns 25 years old - although M-Net has a special 25th birthday logo which the pay TV station will be using elsewhere during the month.
Whereas the SABC recently changed its on-screen logo on its TV channels for one day to mark its 75th anniversary, M-Net will not be changing its channel logo(s) on screen. ''The logo subscribers see on television won't change. It will remain just the ribbon. M-Net has more than one channel so it all stays as is,'' says Lani Lombard, M-Net's communications manager.
''There is a special M-Net 25th birthday logo however. That special M-Net logo will be used and seen elsewhere for M-Net's anniversary but it won't be seen as the channel marker,'' she says.
