I can exclusively break the news that Top Billing, SABC3's weekly entertainment magazine show, is set to move on the broadcaster's schedule yet again from October - and I can reveal that the hour long show by Tswelopele Productions will be moving to Tuesdays at 20:00, half an hour later that the current 19:30.
Top Billing that was moved in April from Thursdays to Tuesdays - news I broke RIGHT HERE in March - will now have stayed in this timeslot for barely 5 months before being moved again from October.
Top Billing has been all over the schedule, from TV1 to SABC2 to SABC3, back to SABC2 and back to SABC3; almost all days of the week and a plethora of timeslots. Now, from October, Top Billing on SABC3 will have Tuesdays at 20:00 as it's latest home.
Despite the seemingly constant fiddling and moving of the show by schedulers the glamorous lifestyle entertainment show has remained a top draw with viewers. So far this year Top Billing has constantly remained as one of the top 10 shows for SABC3 as far as the channel's weekly viewership numbers are concerned.
I can also reveal that the News in 60 Seconds on SABC3 will subsequently move to 20:59 from October.
