So tweets Nonhle Thema with the shocking news that the telegenic TV star and Vuzu (DStv 123) have - as the news is now spun - ''mutually decided to put their on-screen relationship on hold''.
I just broke the news RIGHT HERE that Nonhle Thema and Vuzu are definitely parting ways and Solly Moeng, acting channel head of Vuzu now officially confirming the news. Solly Moeng says that ''Nonhle Thema will be pursuing her own projects for now'' and that ''Vuzu would like to thank Nonhle for her contributions to the channel and wishes her well with her new ventures''.
In the short press release neither Vuzu or Nonhle Thema are explaining the sudden separation that Nonhle Thema calls ''a divorce'' - especially given the big way that Nonhle Thema has been immersed with the channel presenting the daily entertainment news show V Entertainment and having done a widely-panned reality show, Nonhle Goes to Hollywood, for the channel.
''It has been great being a part of Channel O and Vuzu, but it's time to move on. I will always have fond memories of the shows and people I worked with and look forward to a bright future for me and the channels. We need to keep on growing,'' is all that Nonhle Thema says in the just-issued statement.
