'I find myself just watching; listening.' Watch when Oprah and Iyanla reunite for an episode where even the executive producer can't look away.

I cannot emphasize more the HAVE TO SEE and incredibly riveting, akward hour of television today that you dare not miss - today's episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show (weekdays, SABC3, 17:30) when Oprah Winfrey reunites with her former protege Iyanla Vanzant.

So engrossing becomes the discussion between the two women that you can't look away. Even Oprah Winfrey admitted that she forgot she's on television. Even executive producer Sheri Selata became so mesmerized she forgot to stop the runaway train hurtling along with the most emotional conversation you'll see all year on television.

''As Iyanla and Oprah start talking, I find myself just watching; listening. I'm almost lost in it,'' said Sheri Selata, executive producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show in Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes who was in the control room producing the episode at the time.

Over 11 ago, Iyanla Vanzant, then destined to become a star like Dr Phil, Dr Oz and Suzie Orman disappeared from The Oprah Winfrey Show where she was a regular weekly fixture. What really happened? Today Oprah Winfrey and Iyanla Vanzant have a fascinating conversation about the complete breakdown between the two and what led to Iyanla Vanzant being frozen out by Oprah Winfrey.

So addictive is this episode in which the two women's no holds-barred conversation takes on a life of its own, that even Sheri Salata forgot to actually watch the clock. ''When I snapped out of my Iyanla Oprah interview fog, I thought: we have two minutes left of the hour. We have a scripted show and we haven't gotten to any part of the script. Oprah didn't intend for us to talk for an hour about what happened eleven years ago. We we're only going to go for a segment.''

''I'm going to let this go. I'm not looking at a script,'' said Sheri Selata. ''My normal duties in the control room just left my mind. It's so good. It would be a big mistake to call for a break.''
