BREAKING. Roma Khanna appointed as new president of MGM's television and digital operations for MGM worldwide.

Roma Khanna has been appointed to run MGM's TV and digital division worldwide of which the MGM movie channel (TopTV 113) is seen in South Africa.

Roma Khanna was running international networks at NBC but left earlier this year. As president of MGM's Television Group and Digital she will oversee all television sales, production, acquisitions, licensing, content creation and digital initiatives for MGM globally. Roma Khanna will also oversee all existing franchises and partnerships and guide the creation of new content based on the MGM library.

''MGM has a long history of creating and distributing world-class content and I am very excited to have the opportunity to help grow the global business across both digital and traditional platforms,'' says Roma Khanna.
