I can exclusively break the news that SABC3 will replace The Tyra Banks Show when it concludes its 5th season later in the year with the new weekday talk show Dr. Oz.
Although SABC3 is losing The Oprah Winfrey Show later in the year when Oprah's show concludes at the end of its 25th and final ''farewell'' season, the public broadcaster's commercial channel has jumped to fill at least one timeslot on the weekday schedule later in the year with an Oprah protege in the form of the popular Dr. Oz. SABC2 already carries Dr. Phil.
Dr. Oz, currently in its 2nd season in America will be replacing The Tyra Banks Show in the 14:30 timeslot on SABC3 later in the year.
