FIRST LOOK! SABC1's new on-air promo imaging now lighter; incorporating a sparkling, circular thematic look.

Here's your first look at SABC1's new and refreshed on-air imaging (other than watching it on the medium itself of course) that was introduced yesterday afternoon already (and not as SABC1 told me on Friday would happen monday night).

The template update from SABC1 promos and intertiles make heavy use of red and yellow as its prmary colours in keeping with the SABC1 logo, and also employ a moving circular design element on the left, and left bottom, side - also in keeping with the round SABC1 logo.
The SABC1 logo which now appears at the beginning and is central to all programming promos has now been emboldened with a ''circular sparkling'' opening, with the logo then minimizing to the bottom right hand corner. (Micro seconds of it seems erratic in on-air playout however, indicating a little processing hiccup perhaps during post production?)

The new SABC1 on-air look has a colour palette that's now distinctly lighter and brighter. Several  thematic 3D-rendered animation sequences has also been created, from a taxi driving down an urban street and then panning to a street name sign, to cameras focusing on a news desk indicating current affairs programming.
