You're reading it here first.

I can be first to break the news that the survival guys from Dual Survival on Discovery Channel (DStv 121, Thursdays at 21:50) Cody Lundin and Dave Canterbury are in South Africa.
I can reveal that they've already filmed an episode roughing it in the wildernis of KwaZulu/Natal and will also be filming a second episode in Southern Africa when they tackle the wildernis of Botswana.

Dave Canterbury (right) a military-style survival expert, professional hunting guide and tracker scout; and Cody Lundin, a (barefoot) minimalist and primitive skills expert are busy filming the second season of Dual Survival that will have 13 episodes and have chosen South Africa and Botswana as two of the places that will appear in episodes in the new season. In the hour long episodes of Dual Survival Dave Canterbury and Cody Lundin place themselves in dangerous situations (lost hikers, trapped divers, marooned sailors, stranded mountain climbers) and have to survive in some of the world's most unforgiving terrain with their knowledge and by depending on each other.

The first season's 10 episodes of Dual Survival just started on Discovery Channel with the 3rd episode going out this coming Thursday at 21:50 with the two stranded on a mountain slope in New Zealand.
