I'm sitting in the studio audience at the 6th season live final Idols Results Show currently being broadcast on M-Net with the pay broadcaster that just announced that Idols will be back for a seventh season in 2011.
Nationwide auditions for Idols will start in February 2011 with auditions taking place in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. Viewers will also be able to vote on Facebook for a specific city to become an audition city in 2011.
M-Net will most probably start to broadcast Idols VII during March, since the show will have its next finale during late September/October and usually has a duration of seven months.
