MultiChoice has unveiled its new DStv Jumbo Universal Remote that has fewer and larger buttons as well as an illuminated keypad.
The DStv Jumbo Universal Remote has been constructed by MultiChoice since the pay TV platform says certain subscribers asked for an easier-to-operate remote. The buttons on the DStv Jumbo Universal Remote can perform all the functions on a DStv PVR decoder, doesn't need to be pointed towards the DStv decoder to work, and is compatible with all DStv decoder models.
The DStv Jumbo Universal Remote can be programmed to control two other devices as well, such as the TV and DVD player, as well as a sound system, and retails for R199. The DStv Jumbo Universal Remote is available from http://www.dstv.com/ and MultiChoice branches.
