BREAKING. SABC chairperson dr Ben Ngubane wants to appoint a ''new'' acting group CEO for the broadcaster.

The utter, and simply astounding incompetence of the beleaguered dr Ben Ngubane is, well, continuing as the SABC chairperson is now apparently in the mood to appoint a new acting group CEO for the struggling South African public broadcaster that's being crushed under the weight of the mismanagement disaster that is dr Ben Ngubane and the SABC board.

After dr Ben Ngubane was exposed on Wednesday for failing to sign off on the appointment of Robin Nicholson as the acting group CEO of the SABC, he now apparently wants to appoint a new acting group CEO of his choosing!

Apparently dr Ben Ngubane appeared on TV news last night (again this Friday morning on LesediFM), admitted that the appointment of Robin Nicholson is ''illegal'' and then went ahead and expressed his desire to quickly appoint a ''new'' acting group CEO! But wait, there's more. Dr Ben Ngubane then allegedly said if he can't find another ''new'' acting group CEO for the SABC, he wants to bring back the currently suspended group CEO Solly Mokoetle with immediate effect.

Meanwhile its not dr Ben Ngubane's decision to make (just as he unilaterally ordered Solly Mokoetle to appoint Phil Molefe as the SABC's new head of news), and all of this now happening after the SABC board who already okay-ed the appointment of Robin Nicholson as the acting group CEO, with just dr Ben Ngubane's signature needed on the paperwork.
