The theatre phase for Idols VI on M-Net will be held at Sun City this year. The judges will give the Idols wannabees these words when they make it through to the theatre rounds: ''You're going to Sun City, baby!''
At Sun City they will be tested as the judges put those selected from across South Africa through a gruelling week of group performances where they will be whittled down further. With Cape Town done (see my stories HERE, HERE and HERE), Idols is moving to Durban on Saturday. Idols contestants will be put through their paces on Saturday at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping from 08:00. The rest of the remaining dates for Idols are: Johannesburg (24 April, Sandton International Convention Centre), Port Elizabeth (2 May, Boardwalk shopping centre) and Bloemfontein (8 May, Windmill entertainment centre).
