The 82nd Academy Awards ceremony, known as the Ocars and honouring the best films in 2009, will - as in previous years - again be broadcast LIVE in South Africa on M-Net Movies 1 (DStv 103) from 03:00 on Monday morning, 8 March.
M-Net will show the 82nd Academy Awards later the evening on Monday, 8 March, from 19:30. Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin will be the co-hosts of the show.
