You're reading it here first. e.tv is working on a new local dramedy show called 4 Play that will start in February on the free to air channel.

4 Play , a South African version that sounds a lot like Sex and the City, revolves around the lives of 5 twentysomething gals, and will start on e.tv on 2 February, 2010 at 21:00. The show, a half hour weekly local production, centres around the lives of 5 college friends, Unathi, Lusanda, Sophie, Payton and Gugu all experiencing a quarterlife crisis.

''With cheating spouses, unreasonable debt, loneliness, drug dependencies and risky sex lives to contend with, these young women are on a quest to find the love that will fix all of their problems.''
