"Normal" people will probably not like it; they won't get it since you really really have to know and love and be completely up-to-date and in-tune with your popculture.
The American late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was the host of the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night in America and tonight on M-Net.
He did this spoof "In Memoriam" segment - to himself during the Emmys.
Very clever he got Josh Groban to sing it - the song is a cover version of One Direction, "What Makes You Beautiful". Similar to his talk show he works in his meme of "Sorry Matt Damon" as well, and Josh Groban plays along.
It's all so popculture dense, you're either going to get it and get it all, or you will be completely confused.
It's clear that Jimmy Kimmel loves television. He actually watches it. A cool moment was after the montage of TV shows and dramas when it was clear he watches all of those shows and saw all of the images and stories from the past year, and then deadpanned with his wit: "I really do need to get out more".

M-Net and DStv WILL be bringing the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards for 2012 this year live and in HD to subscribers as it did in the past.
M-Net is regressing as far as the annual Emmy Awards - TV's biggest night - is concerned: this year South African viewers and DStv subscribers
REWRITE: Thursday 15:30 - MultiChoice has now come to my aid after I tried for more than a week to get any possibly answer to this, with MultiChoice reaching out to me to tell me that indeed DStv subscribers will be able to see the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards live and in HD on M-Net HD (DStv 170).
MultiChoice tells me that the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will be screened on M-Net HD (DStv 170) at 03:00 on Monday morning 24 September. That makes it live and in HD.
I've been trying to source an answer about this since 12 September last week, and made not just one enquiry about it. Also the last time I checked the separate M-Net Movies 1, M-Net Movies 2, M-Net Movies 1 HD and the M-Net HD EPG's yesterday for Monday 24 September, nothing regarding the Emmys appeared on the EPG. Thank you MultiChoice for helping!
After bringing South African viewers the Emmy Awards ceremony from Hollywood live and live and in HD the past 3 years, M-Net is not doing that this year. The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards won't be shown live on M-Net Movies 1 (DStv 103), M-Net Movies 2 (DStv 104), or M-Net Movies 1 HD (DStv 175) as it has been in the past.
M-Net didn't respond to a media enquiry about this.
M-Net subscribers will be able to see the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards recorded and edited, and DStv subscribers will be able to see the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards recorded and edited and in HD on Monday night 24 September on M-Net (DStv 101) and M-Net HD (DStv 170) at 20:30.
What is live for South African viewers however are the E! Entertainment (DStv 124) red carpet Emmy coverage starting on Sunday night 23 September at 23:00 with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2012 Emmy Awards, followed at 00:00 on Sunday night by E! Live from the Red Carpet: The Emmy Awards 2012.

BREAKING. M-Net has the broadcasting rights to the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards; will be shown on 24 September in HD.
No word yet on a live broadcast and a live in HD broadcast, or any pre-show package included in the deal, although it will all probably happen.

BREAKING. Poster for the upcoming 64th Primetime Emmy Awards on 23 September unveiled.
The poster for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards has just been unveiled at the TV Academy in North Hollywood.
No announcement has been made yet, but in all likelihood M-Net will as always have the broadcasting rights for South Africa for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards when the ceremony is televised on 23 September in America from the Nokia Theatre LA Live. Jimmy Kimmel is the host this year.
