Programming note: E! Entertainment rolling out the red carpet for 2011 Emmy arrivals coverage on Sunday and post show fashion critiques.

I've asked E! Entertainment (DStv 124) about the coverage plans for the upcoming 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards taking place on 18 September in Los Angeles with host Jane Lynch and the entertainment news channel immediately responded.

M-Net has the broadcasting rights for South Africa, finds all the channels and broadcasting times RIGHT HERE in my July story.

E! Entertainment will have full red carpet coverage of the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards from Sunday night at 23:00 (South African time) with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards, followed from 00:00 with Live from the Red Carpet: The 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic will as per usual be on hand for live red carpet coverage. ''E! Entertainment will give an insider's view of arrivals, exclusive interviews and-of course-fabulous fashion. Live from the Red Carpet at the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards will be talking to all of your favorite television stars and Emmy nominees.''

Fashion Police: The 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards on Wednesday 21 September at 20:00 is an hourlong special dissecting who wore what with Joan Rivers and the E! fashion experts.

It's not the Oscars but Jane Lynch who will be hosting the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards, is held up by golden men in the official Emmy poster.

The official poster for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards to be hosted by Jane Lynch and shown in South Africa on Monday 19 September has just been unveiled.

With Fox showing the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in America, M-Net will be showing it live very early in the morning of 19 September at 02:00 South African time on the M-Net channel (DStv 101) and M-Net HD (DStv 170) in high definition - as well as again on both these channels at 21:30 on the same day.

In the new official Emmy key art poster Jane Lynch is held up by golden men - actually reminiscent of the Oscars - while she holds an Emmy statue.

BREAKING. M-Net secures the broadcasting rights to the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards for South Africa on 19 September.

You're reading it here first.

M-Net has secured the broadcasting rights to the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards for South Africa that will be taking place in the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on 18 September. ''We will flight the Emmys,'' M-Net tells me.

M-Net has no programming specifics available yet regarding the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast but based on past scheduling behaviour, plus the new dynamics of the M-Net Movies 1 HD channel, below is my projected guess at what M-Net will be announcing regarding the broadcast, and only for the broadcast and no pre- red carpet specials, which should figure in somewhere as well. Note that nothing is confirmed besides M-Net having the rights and this is my calculated projection in chronological order:

Monday 19 September
03:00 - 06:30 LIVE M-Net Movies 1 HD (M-Net 175)
03:00 - 06:30 LIVE M-Net Movies 1 (DStv 103)

20:30 - 23:30 M-Net (DStv 101)
20:30 - 23:30 M-Net HD (DStv 170)

UPDATE Friday 15 July 13:30 - M-Net confirms broadcasting times of the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be on at 21:30 on 19 September on M-Net (DStv 101) and M-Net HD (DStv 170).
M-Net will be showing the live feed of the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards at 02:00 on the morning of 19 September. M-Net haven't specified which channel(s) yet.
