Viacom Africa's Comedy Central Roast of AKA adds Papa Penny, Joey Rasdien and Moonchild Sanelly as Roast panellists.

Viacom Africa's Comedy Central Roast of AKA on Comedy Central (DStv 121) has added Papa Penny, Joey Rasdien and Moonchild Sanelly as roaster panellists, in addition to the already announced Mark Fish, Nina Hastie and Francois van Coke.

Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) announced the second set of roasters who will be taking on the notorious rapper when the Comedy Central Roast of AKA is recorded on 21 February at The Teatro at Montecasino, Johannesburg with Pearl Tusi as the roastmaster.

The Comedy Central Roast of AKA (real name Kiernan Forbes) will be broadcast on Comedy Central, with the uncensored version going to MultiChoice's Showmax video streaming service.

The Comedy Central Roast of AKA will be broadcast on Comedy Central on 11 March 2019, with an extended and uncut version that will be released a day later on Showmax on 12 March.

The "Tsonga King" Papa Penny says "I've had my fair share of being roasted on social media in the past which makes me more than ready to be on the Comedy Central Roast panel. I will bring my Tsonga bling and flair to set the stage on fire."

Comedian Joey Rasdien says "to be able to get the opportunity to be on a Roast panel, roasting AKA is huge. I'm super excited".

Singer Moonchild Sanelly says "The Comedy Central Roast of AKA will be a comfortable space for me because I have faced a lot of criticism in my career, and I can take it".

"I would love to think that it lightens the load of rumours about celebrities because if people can see you laugh at yourself then they don't have the power to believe that making fun of you hurts you".
