7de Laan's "spinnekopvroutjie" Hilda and the voice of Heidi celebrates her 70th birthday today with actress Annelise Weiland celebrating 7 decades with a special black-and-white cake.
The
actress has been part of the Danie Odendaal Produksies produced show on SABC2 since the
first episode, becoming a household name with her "hartjie", "serpie"-scarves
and continuing her journey with a recent reinvention and style-makeover
including a shorter haircut as well as a different story arc after the
character of her husband Oubaas played by Pierre van Pletzen was written out of
the soap.
Also
the Afrikaans dubbed voice of the iconic Heidi animation character constantly
in reruns on South African television, 7de Laan surprised Annelise Weiland with a cake
and congratulating her on the milestone birthday, saying "Annelisa, today we
celebrate everything that makes you so special".
