Sandhurst home of the debt-riddled late Alyce Chavunduka to be sold on auction on Wednesday.

The property of the late former SABC news reader Alyce Chavunduka (or Alyce "Chuvunduka" if you're the National Film and Video Foundation, the Saftas and Clive Morris Productions) will be sold off on auction tomorrow (Wednesday) to try and recover debt from the estate.

Alyce Chavunduka died unexpectedly in January following an epileptic seizure in her Sandhurst home.

The bank successfully repossessed the two-storey house in the North Gauteng High Court, and it will go on public auction tomorrow in an attempt to recover some of the huge debt left behind.

According to sources Alyce Chavunduka was heavily in debt at the time of her death, and according to another source "actually bankrupt".
