M-Net: 71st Golden Globe Awards proves again that M-Net and M-Net Series channels reign supreme in bringing viewers the best Hollywood fare.

With basically every TV show in every TV category for the 71st Golden Globe Awards which took place early on Monday morning in Los Angeles, being shown on M-Net (DStv 101) and the three M-Net Series channels on MultiChoice's DStv, the South African pay-TV broadcaster says this year's Globes "proved yet again that M-Net and the M-Net Series channels reign supreme".

"The 71st Golden Globe Awards proved yet again that M-Net and the M-Net Series channels reign supreme in terms of bringing viewers the best of the best Hollywood fare," says M-Net.

All of the television categories actors, actresses and shows which won - except for the film Behind the Candelabra which won in the best mini-series category - has been shown on one of the various M-Net channels or is an ongoing show on the pay-TV broadcaster's channel collection.

Even this excellent biographical drama about Liberace with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon is coming to M-Net in 2014.

"M-Net can also confirm that the mini-series Behind the Candelabra, which impressed the Hollywood Foreign Press the most in more than one category, will be aired on one of the M-Net channels later this year," says the pay-TV broadcaster.

"The M-Net channels are renowned for their world-class entertainment and we're proud of the fact that the shows on our channels did so well at this year's awards," says Lani Lombard, M-Net's head of publicity.

"Congratulations to all the winners and the international producers of these fantastic shows. In 2014 M-Net and the M-Net Series channels will keep viewers entertained with more top-notch series."

"You can also rest assured that many winners in the motion picture categories will be on our M-Net Movies channels soon," says Lani Lombard.
