BREAKING. ANN7 main anchor Chantal Rutter Dros admonishes ANN7 staff on the air after a mistake: ' We really messed that one up.'

Continuing to not get it right with cringe-worthy on-air mistakes, the embarrassing ANN7 (DStv 403) saw the 24-hour TV news channel's main anchor Chantal Rutter Dros audibly rebuking ANN7 staff live on the air on Thursday night during ANN7 Prime - following a mistake with yet another highly embarrassing mistake.

Clearly struggling to read and trying to bring viewers breaking news of a shooting incident in Washington D.C. - a halting, stammering, then completely stopping Chantal Rutter Dros pushed through despite clear technical problems and mistakes at the ANN7 studio.

Chantal Rutter Dros bravely and with a smile intro'ed the next story, but when the segment started to play Chantal Rutter Dros' lapel mic wasn't muted for live playout.

That's when the mistake got even bigger and compounded when what was meant for the floor and the ANN7 control room and definitely not for public broadcast, was clearly audible for everyone as viewers heard Chantal Rutter Dros' voice continue above the segment being played out.

"Okay. Guys, we really messed that one up," viewers heard Chantal Rutter Dros say - her voice very different in tone from the friendly tone in which she just introduced the end-happy paraplegic walking aid story.

It's the latest incident for ANN7 which has been plagued with ongoing on-air gaffes since the channel from Infinity Media launched on DStv.
