Several American TV shows seen in South Africa got the axe from American broadcast television networks which means a big hit for M-Net.
M-Net and sister channel M-Net Series are almost exclusively the home of all of these shows in South Africa.
A major number of American TV shows were cancelled on Friday. Shows which won't see further seasons include:
Smash (M-Net Series), Malibu County (M-Net), Body of Proof (M-Net), The New Normal (M-Net), Happy Endings (M-Net Series), Golden Boy (M-Net Series), CSI: New York (M-Net and Universal Channel), Vegas (M-Net), Rules of Engagement (SABC3), Go On (M-Net), Deception (M-Net), Family Tools (M-Net), Red Widow (M-Net), Southland (M-Net Series), Burn Notice (M-Net Series), Touch (M-Net), Whitney (M-Net).
