Bonang Matheba is joining Top Billing on SABC3 as a presenter after the Tswelopele Productions entertainment magazine saw and realized a chance to perhaps grab the fame seeker when the opportunity arose.
Bonang Matheba was the most imitated person during the nationwide auditions earlier this year during the Top Billing Presenter Search reality show, which made the production sit up and notice - if people coming to Top Billing auditions are imitating her, they want to be her.
Bonang Matheba will be making her first appearance on Top Billing on Tuesday 11 December at 20:00, and start to pop up in the limited-run local version of the format reality show Clash of the Choirs on Mzanzi Magic (DStv 161) from 2013.
In a statement issued through PR company Total Exposure doing publicity work for SABC3, Basetsana Kumalo, co-executive producer for Tswelopele Productions says: "Bonang represents true South African talent with her unique brand essence that captivates audiences. She is a refreshing, relevant and inspiring young woman, who exudes warmth, grace and charm. She will bring her own signature to the show and it's a pleasure to welcome her to the Top Billing family."
