BREAKING. Dylan Rattingan leaving MSNBC to 'experiment and explore new ways' of telling stories.


Dylan Rattigan is leaving MSNBC (TopTV 400) after 3 years, with The New York Times breaking the news that the presenter will do the final episode of The Dylan Ratigan Show on Friday 22 June.

Martin Bashir who joined MSNBC in February last year, will take over Dylan Rattigan's timeslot which is seen one hour later, from 25 June.

"Dylan's distinct voice and his fearless approach to tackling complicated issues has been a key part of MSNBC's growth and success," MSNBC president Phil Griffin write in a note to MSNBC employees this afternoon.

In a blog post on The Huffington Post Dylan Rattigan writes that he's leaving to "experiment and explore new ways" to tell stories.

"While I don't know exactly how my own story will develop, I hope to share some initial details with you soon," he writes.
