BREAKING. SABC3 will be broadcasting the The Royal Monaco Wedding on 2 July; is considering a panel of experts for the broadcast.

You're reading it here first.

I can be first to reveal that although SABC3 hasn't signed the rights deal yet, the broadcaster is promising that it will broadcast the wedding of Prince Albert II to his South African princess Charlene Wittstock on Saturday 2 July from Monaco. SABC3 is calling it, The Royal Monaco Wedding.

SABC3 doesn't have a specific broadcasting time for The Royal Monaco Wedding yet. SABC3 did very well with its broadcast of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and decided to add The Royal Monaco Wedding to the schedule and is busy negotiating the broadcasting rights. SABC3 can't however yet say whether The Royal Monaco Wedding will be broadcast live, be delayed live, or recorded for later broadcast.

''You are cordially invited by SABC3 to watch a South African woman's dream come true as she weds Prince Albert the second on 2 July,'' says SABC3, calling The Royal Monaco Wedding ''a must see''.

SABC3 says its also still mulling over the exact format. Insiders are saying that SABC3 is mulling a panel of expert to discuss and talk about the wedding together with the wedding broadcast, similar to what E! Entertainment did with the British Royal Wedding in April. ''The expert or experts will have to be someone or people who personally know her and can give insight into her life and talk about Charlene Wittstock and make the wedding experience personal for viewers,'' I'm told.

I can also reveal first that Top Billing on SABC3 will broadcast an exclusive interview with Charlene Wittstock in the episode of Tuesday, 14 June as a primer for the wedding broadcast in July.
