On 1 April kykNET (DStv 111), as one of the M-Net sister channels, will also be changing its appearance, but it won't be changing its logo like what will happen to M-Net Stars, M-Net Series, M-Net Action, M-Net HD, M-Net Movies 1, M-Net Movies 2 and M-Net Movies 1 HD.
The logo will remain the current channel ident, but kykNET is changing its moving on-screen look and promo plates. The refreshing is because the rest of the channels are changing. While the kykNET logo remains the same, it will be integrated into new self-promotion templates, line-up and menu boards, link boards and straps.
''We're trying to make kykNET's look more cleaner and more elegant,'' I'm told. ''The new on-screen elements will be introduced from 1 April. Refreshing a look is always nice,'' kykNET tells me.
