BREAKING. Kuli Roberts apologizes on-air for her offensive hate-filled views on coloured women: ''I'm really sincerely sorry.''

You're reading it here first.

''I'd like to say that everybody that was offended by my column I'm really, really, I'm sorry. I'm not a rascist. I'm all about nation building. Sometimes I think I'm funny when I'm actually not. I really would like to apologize to everybody. I'm really sincerely sorry.''

Those were the words  of a serious looking Kuli Roberts, the caustic socialite and presenter of Headline on her Mzansi Magic (DStv 107) TV show moments ago. An apologetic looking, stern faced Kuli Roberts just made a public on-air apology that comes days after her rascist rant in a newspaper column (now canceled) against coloured women.

Her hate-laced words saying that coloured women ''breed'' as well as other utterly degoratory and stereotyped statements ignited a firestorm of controversy and made a discussion about race once again a national burning point.
