Danny K the first guest judge when Idols kicks off its 7th season audition process this Saturday in Cape Town.

Singer Danny K will be the first guest judge when the new round of nationwide auditions kick off for the 7th season of Idols son M-Net this Saturday in Cape Town.

M-Net just issued a press release reminding people that the Cape Town auditions takes place this Saturday and that people should be at the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC) early ''and come armed with charm, talent, a musical instrument of their choice, lots and lots of patience and, of course, a valid South African identity document.''

After Saturday the Idols audition process moves to the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane (Saturday, 26 February), the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban (Saturday, 5 March), the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto (Saturday, 26 March), and Montecasino in Johannesburg (Saturday, 2 April).
