I can exclusively break the news and reveal that On Digital Media's (ODM) TopTV platform will be launching a brand-new Muslim based TV channel called Al Mizan on Friday, November 5.

TopTV is officially mum on this, but I can tell you that Al Mizan will be available on TopTV's variety package of R99 per month. TopTV will not be making a big hoo-haa about the Islamic-centric TV channel and is adding Al Mizan (''mizan'' means ''balance in English) to see how it will do regarding viewership.
