BREAKING. Carte Blanche on M-Net furiously reworks entire show's line-up for Sunday evening after the murder of Eugene Terre'Blanche.
You're reading it here first.
I can exclusively reveal first that South Africa's premiere and longest running weekly investigate magazine TV show Carte Blanche is scrambling to put together a brand-new show for this evening on M-Net at 19:00 after the murder of AWB leader Eugene Terre'Blanche on Saturday evening.
The award-winning TV show has gone into production overdrive behind the scenes I'm told, to redo the entire show for this evening with executive producer George Mazarakis leading the charge. ''It's too big to ignore,'' a source told me about the news. ''The Eugene Terre'Blanche news has changed the total focus of Carte Blanche for this Sunday evening and viewers can definitely expect to see Carte Blanche addressing everything that has happened tonight at 19:00.''
I'm told that Carte Blanche is culling its archives and considering using some of the material from previous Eugene Terre'Blanche interviews as snippets, or possibly to compile a ''highlights'' package from over the years. Since this morning Carte Blanche producers and George Mazarakis are also mulling and looking at the possibility of getting a live TV panel of experts together for this evening, with Derek Watts as moderator.
