BREAKING. Beautiful All Access set dumped after less than a year due to budget constraints.
You're reading it here first.
After less than 40 weeks seen on-air, the beautifully Michael Gill designed All Access set of M-Net's weekly entertainment magazine show is a gonner. Permanently.
The dramatic red, white and black studio set has unceremoniously been towed out of the way after having been used for less than a year with All Access ditching the magnificent set for cheaper on location shoots the way that e.tv's The Showbiz Report and SABC3's Top Billing has done from the start. The All Access main co-host duo of Mark Bayly and Pabi Moloi has also officially been broken up with Mark Bayly who've now hosted two episodes without Pabi Moloi. Pabi Moloi will be appearing next to Jason Greer in a Rosebank venue in this Friday evening's episode.
M-Net hasn't responded to All Access enquiries I made two weeks ago, but sources tell me the All Access set was ditched because of budget constraints. ''They had to cancel the studio,'' whispered a source close to the production. ''It's terrible that they are ditching the set and it's purely because of budgets.''
