All Access, the weekly entertainment magazine show on M-Net, just confirmed that Liezel van der Westhuizen will be the host and presenter of the sixth season of Idols. She will be assisted by and have Proverb as a co-host this season.
This will mark the bubbly Liezel van der Westhuizen's second stint as Idols presenter after her debut last year when she took over from longtime Idols host Colin Moss who was not available for the local version of the hit international reality show contest. Proverb currently appears in M-Net's other reality show, Survivor SA Santa Carolina and has done presenting work on Channel O.
''I think it's going to be a lot of fun doing it with Proverb,'' Liezel van der Westhuizen told All Access. ''We're going to be working together and get a bit of training and learn to work off of each other. We're both pretty new to each other. We've never worked together.''
''This is definitely the biggest project I've embarked on; definitely looking forward to it,'' Proverb said to All Access.
