Binneland Sub Judice's brand new title sequence with a wonderful saxophone!

You're reading it here first.

I'm in love. I love and collect TV theme songs and I just saw the BRAND NEW opening theme, opening title and theme song for Binneland Sub Judice that will debut on M-Net on Monday, 5 April at 18:00 when Binnelanders change to Binneland Sub Judice and becomes a daily hour long show.

I simply LOVE the new opening theme, the music and the feeling that the images, title montage and sound evoke. Here is what I can exclusively reveal:

Gone is the Jak de Priester lyrics in the great new theme song. Binneland Sub Judice has done away with the singing and has opted for a completely instrumental version, but the original song is still there - although slightly adapted and rerecorded. It's still brilliant though - even better than before!
Law images - from law books and buildings to give an institutionalized look and feel - are now incorporated into the title sequence. Look closely and you'll still see purple Jacaranda tree blossoms on the steps, although not tumbling down as it did in the original. Utterly wonderful is the flowing, sweeping and mesmerising saxophone that you'll hear in the song which is just remarkable and extremely well done. The saxophone is offset by beautiful, instrumental piano music and a violin with lingering, yet staccato piano notes playing out the end of the theme song.
