I've learned that tomorrow the SABC will most likely call a press conference for this Wednesday, 13 January at the SABC's head office in Auckland Park where the SABC's new CEO, Solly Mokoetle and dr. Ben Ngubane, the new chairperson of the new SABC board will BOTH appear, talk to the press, and BOTH of them will take questions.
On Monday the SABC will set and convene a press conference - most probably for Wednesday this week - to address the unhappiness from certain quarters about Solly Mokoetle's appointment by the outgoing interim SABC board at the end of last year.
Solly Mokoetle and dr Ben Ngubane will talk about Mokoetle's new contract, as well as how Solly Mokoetle sees his new job, and dr. Ben Ngubane about how the public broadcaster plans to proceed from here on after the myriad of messes the broadcaster has been involved in, and in some respects still are.
