BREAKING. Freek Robinson switching channels - here's the dates!

You're reading it here first. Freek Robinson's last episode of anchoring Fokus on SABC2 will be on 10 January 2010 - and a mere two days later, on 12 January 2010, he will appear on kykNET (DStv 111) anchoring his new news and actuality TV show.

The presenter of Fokus is ditching SABC2 and pitching his tent at kykNET where Robinson Regstreeks will start on Tuesdays from 12 January at 21:00. No word from SABC2 yet on who will be replacing Freek.

His new Robinson Regstreeks will be done live from M-Net's Randburg studios. It will consist of studio interviews with guest, prepackaged inserts about current events and investigative journalism.

The show will be an hour long, instead of the half hour Fokus.
