The pro-player and live streamer Julia Robson joins GINX eSports TV as the eSports correspondent for Africa.

The pro-player and live streamer, Julia "Bish" Robson has joined the esports TV channel, GINX (DStv 240) as the eSports correspondent for Africa.

Julia Robson's appointment comes after GINX launched a dedicated feed in Africa where the channel is carried on MultiChoice's DStv satellite pay-TV platform in South Africa with content blocks on SuperSport.

Julia Robson will help GINX eSports TV develop its reach in Africa and ensure the local community has a voice on the TV channel.

At the time of the initial launch in June 2017, Michiel Bakker, GINX eSports TV CEO said "We can expect to see more and more esports content coming out of Africa this year and GINX is keen to play a key part in bringing that content to audiences in Africa and the rest of the world."

The appointment is one of the initiatives the channel is taking to help promote esports in Africa. The channel says Julia's experience of the African esports scene will help GINX eSports TV give deeper coverage  to local events on both GINX eSports TV and GINX eSports TV Africa.

MultiChoice adds 3 TV channels to DStv Now app for DStv Premium subscribers - Eurochannel, ShortsTV and Ginx TV - for 3 months.

MultiChoice is adding 3 TV channels to its DStv Now app for DStv Premium subscribers for 3 months: Eurochannel, ShortsTV and Ginx TV.

While the DStv Now app is free to download for all DStv customers, the video content can only be watched by DStv Premium subscribers.

The DStv Now app allows users to watch content on Android and iOS phones and tablets.

Eurochannel, Ginx TV and ShortsTV will be watchable through DStv Now from mid-March 2015 to mid-June 2015.

ShortsTV carries short films, including African short films.

Ginx TV based in the United Kingdom is a video gaming TV channel, offering video reviews and news from the world of video gaming and video gaming culture.

Eurochannel is an English language TV channel featuring European programming, including movies and TV series.
