Programming note: Squawk Box Europe on Monday on CNBC Africa will be live from Paris, France.
What the business channel CNBC Africa (DStv 410) won't tell you (and probably don't even know), I will: Squawk Box Europe will be done entirely live from Paris, France this Monday 16 April from the Palais Brongniart, the former home of the French Stock Exchange.
South African TV viewers will be able to see Squawk Box Europe this Monday from between 10:00 to 11:00 (although its on for 3 hours overseas).
With the French Presidential election less than a week away, Squawk Box Europe on Monday will provide local expert analysis on the health of the country's economy, the impact of the election on business in France and the significance of France's role in leading the Euro zone out of the credit crisis.
The presenters Steve Sedgwick and Karen Tso will be joined by Paris reporter Stéphane Pedrazzi for the programme, which is usually produced live from CNBC Europe's regional headquarters in London.

Programming note: Aviate Africa on CNBC Africa a new monthly show looking at the continent's aviation industry.
Not so much as a single word from CNBC Africa (DStv 410) to the press (so how is anyone supposed to know?) but there's a new monthly aviation show, Aviate Africa on the channel.
Aviate Africa is a 30 minute monthly show (not even I can tell you when it's on, or on again. Sorry) looking at all the fascets of Africa's aviation industry.

Christmas wishes for 2010 from CNBC Africa with a classic white and silver Christmas card.
Ooh. They must be money-ed people. I just received this really beautiful, elegantly understated Christmas card in soft sparkle white, with the embossed silver logo from CNBC Africa (DStv 410) that a courier delivered to my door, and with wishes inside.

BREAKING. CNBC Africa not live at parliament today.
You're reading it here first.
CNBC Africa (DStv 410) will not be covering this evening's first ever evening opening of parliament LIVE but will have a presence there and will do cut-aways as deemed necessary.
''We will be there but we're not interrupting normal programming,'' Jill de Villiers, director: programming at CNBC Africa tells me. ''We will have a little squeeze back window on the State of the Nation address, and will zoom in on some important points made by the president,'' she says.
CNBC Africa's Cape Town reporter Talia Sanhewe will be at parliament later today and compile inserts for Business AM on Friday morning and the Business Spotlight show over the weekend.
